European Alliance for Personalized Medicine (EAPM) 2017 Congress

In response to the need for a wider understanding of the priorities arising from growing discussion on personalized medicine, the European Alliance for Personalized Medicine (EAPM) was launched in March 2012 to foster a more integrated approach to the topic among lay and professional stakeholders.

The EAPM brings together European healthcare experts, patient advocates involved with chronic diseases, industry, researchers, academics and cross-party Members of the European Parliament (among others). Its aim is to improve patient care by accelerating the development, delivery and uptake of personalized medicine and diagnostics, through consensus building.

The 2017 Congress “Personalizing Your Health: A Global Imperative” will be the first ever pan-European, multidisciplinary Congress specific to the fast-moving field of personalized medicine and will feature cancer-specific streams and symposia under the banner of “Cancer: A paradigm for personalized health.” The high-level gathering will act as a one-stop-shop for multi-stakeholders and provide the biggest ‘space’ to date to allow for such a meeting of minds and expertise, top-level discussion and the formulation of real action plans.
