Komen® Oregon’s Metastatic Breast Cancer Summer Social Series

The Metastatic Breast Cancer Summer Social provides a forum for people living with metastatic breast cancer to discuss the latest in research, treatment, and symptom management with local health experts, in a small group setting.  Dinner is free, and registration is available to people living with stage IV/ metastatic breast cancer and, if space is available, their caregiver.

Join us for yoga and a summer social!  We’ll start with a talk about how yoga and meditation can be beneficial when living with metastatic breast cancer, before learning some gentle movements and guided meditation.  Afterwards, we’ll gather for a picnic-style lunch for some social / get-to-know-you time.  Families are welcome. Registration is required by July 29th.

If you are unable to attend the event in person, we will live-stream the presentation on our Facebook page (@KomenOregon). Individuals watching via the Facebook live video will be able to ask questions in the comments section, and they will be answered at the end of the speaker’s presentation.
