Medical Updates from the 2018 SABCS

Join us to hear about the latest medical updates from the 2018 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium.

Our expert, William J. Gradishar, MD, FASCO, FACP, will discuss trials like KATHERINE, SOLAR-1 and Impassion-130 that could lead to new treatments. You’ll also learn about studies that could help doctors recommend the right treatments at the right times in early and metastatic breast cancer, whether it’s surgery, radiation therapy or hormonal therapy.

Learn what these options could mean today and tomorrow, and what information you need to talk about your treatment choices with your healthcare providers.

Our webinar begins with a 45-minute conversation with our expert about the latest medical updates from the 2018 San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. During the last 15 minutes, ask questions or make comments during the interactive Q&A.

LBBC’s Annual Conference

Whether you are recently diagnosed with breast cancer, are in treatment or years beyond it, you have questions. The 2018 Living Beyond Breast Cancer Conference (LBBC) addresses them. Leading medical professionals, people affected by breast cancer, and caregivers share their experiences, knowledge and concerns with one another. We’ll learn about the treatments and lifestyle options that can help us live our best lives – and have some fun along the way.

LBBC’s Reach & Raise Event: Denver

LBBC’s Reach & Raise is not your typical charity walk or run – we’ve put a twist on it. By having everybody participate together in an all-levels, large-group yoga activity, we’ve created a community-building celebration that combines yoga, music, our Healthy Living Expo and personal stories that inspire us all while supporting people in your community who are affected by breast cancer.

Rest assured LBBC’s Reach & Raise is designed so that anyone can participate, regardless of age, physical fitness or previous experience with yoga.

Single & Ready to Mingle: Dating & Breast Cancer

Dating often comes with excitement and anxiety as you get to know a new person and bring them into your personal life. Dating after a breast cancer diagnosis can make the anxiety and worry you feel about your body, yourself, and telling a new person about the disease overwhelm those positive, exciting feelings. The physical and emotional changes you may have experienced can leave you wondering:

Join us for our June Twitter Chat to discuss dating during and after breast cancer. Expert Helen L. Coons, PhD, ABPP and a panel of women with breast cancer will talk about the many impacts a breast cancer diagnosis can have on your dating life such as changing body image, and finding the right time to share your diagnosis with someone new.  Our panelists will share their personal stories and tips that worked for them.

Use #LBBCChat to follow and join the chat.

LBBC’s Reach & Raise Event: Philadelphia

Living Beyond Breast Cancer’s Reach & Raise event is a fundraiser for breast cancer research and is not your typical charity walk or run – we’ve put a twist on it. Bring your friends for a unique morning of connection and inspiration including an all-levels yoga experience with live music as you move with hundreds of others. After class, enjoy a snack and know that you’re doing something that will make a difference. We know that people facing breast cancer can’t do it alone – help us ensure that all who are affected by this disease have the information and support they need.
